Last night I had the pleasure of seeing Disney on Ice, Let’s Celebrate with the kids. We went to last years show so the girls were super excited to see this years. The best part about Let’s Celebrate is that there were so many characters involved! All of the girls favorite characters that weren’t in the show last year were there this year!
Let’s see what Let’s Celebrate was about!

BEFORE THE SHOW
We arrived at The Q about half an hour before the show started. The girls were in their princess dresses with their tiaras and were ready to go! We stopped on the way to our seats and treated all the kids to a snow cone in an adorable Disney themed cup. We made it to our seats with 5 minutes to spare. As we waited for the show to start, we treated the kids to a Disney themed light up toy. Which I will regret later when Josh decides to repeatedly hit me in the face with it.
THE SHOW STARTS
The moment we have all been waiting for, the show starts. Mickey and Minnie appear on the ice ready to start the party! They are joined by several friends and burst into song. As usual the show was absolutely magical. Singing, skating, dancing and fun. We enjoyed visits from our favorite Disney Characters including Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck, Tinkerbell, ALL the Princesses and Princes, All the characters from Toy Story, Jack Skeleton and all the best Disney Villains. It really was an unforgettable performance.
Ariana was thrilled that Cinderella was there this year. Lily couldn’t wait to see Ariel on the ice again. Joshua really loved the Toy Story act! He laughed and pointed as he watched one of his favorite dinosaurs skate around the ice. The kids literally had their eyes glued to the ice during the entire show. They didn’t even want to leave their seats during the break. We also had one of their friends with us and well “M” enjoyed everything! When we left we asked if every had fun, my girls yelled yes and “M” said that it was the greatest thing she had ever seen!
My husbands really enjoyed the performance by the Disney Villains. It was his favorite of the night. I must admit they did an amazing job with it. I personally really enjoyed the Toy Story performance. The entire show was wonderful! The singing, dancing, special effects and props were perfect. The performance was fantastic and magical without being overwhelmingly over the top. It was over too soon.
To sum it up. Let’s Celebrate was a magical show for the entire family. There really was something for everyone. No one went home disappointed. So grab the kids, get your tickets and head out to see a show that you will never forget.
