I was contacted a month ago by a wonderful mama, Ashley Rainey, to try some products by a new company called Radiantly You. She told me that it is a new company that promotes affordable, natural living. I was excited to go to the website and learn all about the company and its products!
So who is Radiantly You?
“Built on the philosophy that organic and natural products should be available to everyone, Radiantly You has worked hard keeping their high quality natural and organic products at a reasonable cost. RY believes that organic/natural skincare products are better for people, the environment and especially our future.” (Company Website)
I chose the All Natural Laundry Soap in Sweet Orange for my review. As I was exploring the company’s website, I felt like a kid in a candy store. I noticed that the laundry soap was not only affordable ($7.50), but there was really not much to this detergent at all! Here are the ingredients: Water, Handcrafted Castile Soap, Super Washing Soda, Borax (and then essential oil or fragrance oil, depending on if you get scented). Yes. I know what you are thinking. I can make this soap. I sure can, and I have been the route of making all of my own cleaning supplies. I have no time for that any more with 3 kids. All in cloth diapers and all hand washed. Yeah. Instead of grating soap or boiling on the stove, I can order this. And I was super excited to get it in the mail.
As I explored the website, I could not help myself. There are so many affordable products that are actually natural! So I made a little order of my own ;). I ordered the All Natural Counter Spray, the All Natural Tub Scrub, Vanilla Mint Toothpaste, and the Tea Tree Shampoo Bar. Just a little something, ha! Actually, my order was around 20 bucks or so, not too shabby! And ya’ll…just look at this soap…delicious looking!
So I digress. First thing is first, since I was given the laundry soap to review. It works wonderful, just as a laundry soap should. I am using it on all my laundry, including my cloth diapers and everything is coming clean. :) I think the hardest part about using a natural soap is to keep in mind that you DO NOT need to use a lot. Using more than needed just wastes your soap, it does work!
Ashley also sent me this awesome lip balm as a little surprise. Yet again, another product this company got right because it is my favorite! It is so nice on my lips and not nasty and greasy.
As for my shopping spree? That will be discussed in tomorrow’s post. I am super in love with this company and since I want to make a second order, I feel like being generous. Stay tuned for a chance to WIN something for yourself from Radiantly You!
